At Sierra Animal Hospital a wellness exam normally coincides with your annual vaccinations, but they can happen whenever you like. Pets that are on any medication must be seen by law every six months before we can dispense medications or sign prescriptions.
Older pets can benefit from annual blood work to screen for potentially life threatening conditions with little to no outward symptoms.
